Tezos is only gaining steam

In 2021, the Tezos protocol got updated three times. There were 10 times as many smart contract calls. New DeFi apps reach the TVL of $1,000,000 in a few days.

Tezos supports the low-level language Michelson, dialects of Pascal, Python, JS, Lorentz, and even Solidity via the Sol2Ligo transpiler. The deployment fee is only $5, while the contract call fee is just $0.1, and the block rate is merely 30 seconds.

FAQ

We want to discover new talents and bring more life to the ecosystem. Not just discover, though: we want them to get enough funds for the development.

It’s all online. All broadcasts will be on YouTube. Communications are via Slack.

The entire February 2022. Contenders will start their work on the 1st of February and submit their projects anytime before the 28th of February. This means 28 days overall.

Anyone who can code, design interfaces, analyse the market, or otherwise contributes to the project. You should speak Russian or Ukrainian.

Just dedicate a couple of minutes of your busy schedule to sign up and join the group in Slack.

Prior to the start, the team chooses two challenges. For the same challenge, only three people tops can work.

You sure can, but a team has more chances to make a cool project.

Write to the Slack chat of the hackathon or look through a dedicated table. We will help you and other participants come together.

Yes! Just make sure all of you register.

Yes! Technical mentors work with development issues, while team ones will help you organise the work and prepare a pitch.

Check out our course, workshops, or documentation. You can also look for the info you need on TQ Tezos Wiki.

There are 17 prizes for 10 challenges, with 3 participants max working on the same challenges. Don’t feel bad if you’re not very experienced: the best Tezos teams watch over the hackathon, and they will call you if you are talented. That’s what happened on previous hackathons.

The maximum possible prize is $55,000, which means you get $20,000 for winning two partners’ challenges and $35,000 from the independent board of judges.

Create an account on Tezos Foundation and fill in the form as follows: tell about the team, the project, and the technologies, then offer a budget breakdown and specify a roadmap. Tezos Foundation watches our hackathons closely.

Tezos is a French invention, so what did you expect from the people who created baguettes
